6 reasons to eat eggs

Fortunately for me, I've always been a fan of eggs, no matter how they're prepared. Here are 6 reasons why you should eat eggs and to encourage you to eat them more often.

Over the years, eggs have gotten a bad reputation, but recently scientists are proving their usefulness, so check out this list and eat more eggs to stay healthy.

1. They are rich in fatty acids

Unsaturated fatty acids are those acids that your body needs.

Omega 3 is one of them and is found in eggs. It is the acid that nourishes the brain and is extremely beneficial for the retina of the eye as well. Who doesn't want to improve brain and eye function? These acids are also useful for children and pregnant women. They also contain arachidonic acid, which helps develop muscle fibers.

2. Excellent source of protein

Containing 6 grams of protein, they are very suitable for people who do not want to eat meat. I don't feel very comfortable eating meat because you have to keep chewing and chewing until it's fit to swallow, so I prefer to eat a portion of scrambled eggs which will provide the protein I need.

3. Eggs contain lutein

The dark color of the egg yolk gives an indication that it contains lutein, which is believed to protect the eyes from oxidative stress that causes many diseases, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, heart failure, atherosclerosis and schizophrenia. Lutein consumption leads to protection against macular degeneration and cataracts. I want to protect my eyes, so I will continue to eat eggs.

4. They are delicious

You can prepare eggs in different ways: boiled, poached, scrambled, fried and scrambled and many others. You can mash them into a pate or sprinkle them on the salad.

6. Eggs contain choline

Choline is found in the B complex vitamins as well as in eggs. Of course, the amount of choline found in one egg is the same as in ½ kg of spinach. I'd rather get my choline from eggs than spinach, how about you? An egg contains 78 calories, while spinach has 154, so if you're watching calories, it's better to choose the egg. Deficiency of choline in the body can lead to nervous breakdown, liver diseases and atherosclerosis. I will gladly eat hard boiled eggs because I want to avoid the risk of these diseases.
