In distant prehistoric times, when wild, terrifyingly ferocious beasts roam the planet, ready to eat anything in sight. When the climate was so harsh that freezing into an ice pod was easier than finding any food. When the heat melted the brain, there lived a tribe, and in it a woman, about whom there was a legend and which was passed on from mouth to mouth by all women - from mother to daughter.

No one remembers her name anymore, but thanks to her, all her daughters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters and descendants still receive not only everything they need in life, but also luxuries in the form of jewels, fashion changes and a huge number of worshippers.

And it all started like that.

During this year the tribe desperately defended themselves against the increasing attacks of the wild beasts.

Women defended themselves and hunted side by side with men. No one imagined that women could stay in caves and not go hunting with men. It was always like that - all members of the tribe did all things together.

"The booty hardly falls into our hands," said the chief. – She wants us to get up for her breakfast. Famine awaits us if luck does not smile upon us.

The tribe had not seen food for 10 sunsets. The strength was leaving the bodies of the warriors. The prominent ones stood with bowed heads in the semi-darkness of the cave, enclosed by huge stone slabs.

Growling and clawing at the stones made them realize that the tribe was trapped.

The beast wanted to squeeze the people into the cave and swallow them like a cat and a mouse in its own hole.

Suddenly a woman, outwardly no different from the others, got up and went to the chief.

"You are a strong warrior," she said. – Nimble hunter. You can run fast. Your speed is our salvation. No tiger can compare to you. Because you're not only fast, you're also smart. You will easily fool this cat and victory, as before, will be yours.

The woman's words reminded the chief of his glorious past days and he raised his head.

He liked to listen to her because her words made the strength in his muscles return along with his dignity and pride.

She looked into his eyes and read in them: "Please don't stop, talk more!" And continued.

– We are your burden, glorious warrior. You'll kill him faster alone than with a crowd of women you're forced to protect. Inconspicuously slipping out of the cave, you will surprise the beast, he will not be able to react, because your spear will pierce his heart. I know - that's exactly how it will happen! You will kill him, we will eat him, and then we will settle in a place where no creature can reach us. You will take us to heaven. I know that!

After saying this, the woman returned to her seat and sat down, closing her eyes. She did not expect anything from the leader, she believed that this strong man would save them. And although the chief didn't budge, she wasn't worried—the chief always made his own decisions.

It was noon on the 11th day. From the heat, everyone fell asleep, and the woman fell asleep, as well as many others...

She woke up from the screams. Everyone screamed and jumped excitedly, and she did not immediately realize that the blood-smeared chief was not injured, but was holding meat in his hands. She understood: the chief had won!

While everyone slept, including the huge saber-toothed tiger, exhausted from the sultry heat, the chief came out of the cave and rolled a stone at the beast. And as he rose stunned, the chief sprang upon him and thrust his spear into his heart.

The victory was so easy that the chief, cutting open the tiger's belly, could not believe his luck until the end. Earlier, when he hunted with the whole tribe, there were many losses, and the food was always abundantly sprinkled with the blood and sorrow of fallen comrades.

The chief found out how much the woman was wise, believing in his victory and he wanted to go to her.

“You killed the beast, Chief. You saved us. You are a great warrior! I will always remember your feat. And please, Chief, take us where we will be safe.

"Okay, woman, I'll definitely take you there." But I was thinking, “This woman is my lucky charm. I want to hear her words about her faith in me every day. And as long as she believes in me, I will always come back to her because of her faith!”

And the woman thought: “He needs me even more than I need him! I will inspire him to exploits. As long as I believe in him, he will be mine!“

Years later, she sang a lullaby to her daughter. Translated into our language, its meaning sounded like this:
