The value of hard work and family

A young man goes to apply for a managerial position in a large company. He passes the first interview, and only has one last interview to go. The interviewer discovers from the resume that the young man's academic record has been excellent all the way from high school through graduate study.

The interviewer asks, "Did you receive any scholarships at school?" The young man replied, "No, I didn't."

The interviewer asked, “Did your father pay your school fees?” The youth replied, “My father died when I was one year old, my mother paid my school fees”.

The interviewer asked, “Where did your mother work?” The young man replied, “My mother worked as a clothes washer.

The director asked the young man to show his hands. The young man showed hands that were smooth and perfect.

The interviewer asked, “Did you ever help your mother wash the clothes?” The youth replied, “Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books. Besides, my mother can wash clothes faster than me."

The interviewer said, “I have a request. When you come back today, go and clean your mother's hands, then come back tomorrow morning. "

The young man thought that his chance of starting the job was high. When he came back, he happily asked his mother to let him clean her hands. His mother felt strange, happy, but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to the kid. The young man was slowly cleaning his mother's hands. Tears streamed down his face as he did so. He noticed for the first time that his mother's hands were so wrinkled and bruised so much. Some bruises were so painful that his mother shuddered as she cleaned them.

This was the first time the young man realized that it was this pair of hands that washed every day to enable him to pay the school fee. The bruises on his mother's hands were the price he had to pay for his graduation, his academic achievements and his future. After he finished cleaning his mother's hands, the young man quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother. That night mother and son talked for a long time. The next morning the young man went to the interviewer's office.

The interviewer noticed the tears in the young man's eyes and asked, “Can you tell me what you did and learned yesterday in your house?” The young man replied, “I cleaned my mother's hand and finished cleaning all the other clothes.”

The interviewer asked, "Please tell me your feelings." The young man said:

“First, now I know what is appreciation. Without my mother, I would have nothing today.

Second, Working together and helping my mother, I only now realize how difficult it is to achieve something.

Third, I realized the importance and the value of family relationships ".

The interviewer said, “That's what I'm looking for, for you to be my manager. I want to hire a person who can appreciate helping others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life. You're hired." Later, this young man worked very hard and gained the respect of his subordinates.

Every employee worked diligently and as a team. The company's performance improved tremendously.
