е. значи „the awakened, enlightened one of our age„.

THE LESSONS OF THE BUDDHA

1. For the present
Don't live in the past, don't dream about the future, focus your mind on the present moment.
The secret of a healthy mind and body is not to mourn the past, not to worry about the future, not to live with the expectation of future problems. Live in the present moment wisely. Live it to the fullest.

2. About sharing
Thousands of candles can be lit from one candle and this will not reduce its life. Likewise, happiness does not diminish when it is shared.

3. About the power of thoughts

Our thoughts shape us. We become what our thoughts are. They shape our world.

4. About anger
You will not be punished for your anger. You will be punished by your anger.

5. For patience
The jug is filled drop by drop.

6. About the truth
There are only two mistakes, which man

7. About the road
You cannot walk the path unless you yourself have become the path.

8. For salvation
No one can save us but ourselves. We are the ones who must walk the path to our salvation.

9. About words

10. On persistence
I never look at what has been accomplished. I always look to what remains to be done.

11. About forgiveness
To understand everything means to forgive everything.

12. About the doubt
Nothing is as destructive as the habit of doubt. Doubt divides people, destroys friendships, poisons relationships. It is like a sword that kills.

13. For your own way
Don't follow anyone. Go after yourself.

14. On inaction
It is not enough to be a good person if you do nothing.

15. About fate
I don't believe in fate that falls on man no matter what he does. I believe in the fate that befalls those who do nothing.

16. For reason
Don't believe anything, no matter where you read it or who said it, even if I said it, unless it agrees with your own common sense and mind.

You can defeat a thousand men in a fierce battle, but only he who defeats himself is the most valiant victor.
Do not concern yourself with other people's mistakes and actions, nor with other people's negligence, but be aware of your own actions and your own negligence.
Let each man direct himself first to what is right, and only then teach others.

18. About the change
Learning means changing.

19. For freedom
Learn to give freedom; it is the key to happiness.
Unleash this, which you love the most; if it comes back to you, it's yours for life.

20. About fears
The whole secret of existence is to have no fears. Never fear what will happen to you. Then you will be free.
