John Kehoe is a Canadian lecturer and philanthropist. He is the author of global bestsellers on self-help, including The Subconscious Can Do Everything, Success and Money, and The Practice of Happiness. His books have been translated into dozens of countries, making him one of the most influential names in the field. And here are his tips on how to make our wishes come true and how to live fully and happily:

Dare to have big dreams. Dare to you believethat you will succeed in whatever you do. Dare to believe that your thoughts and actions will change not only your life, but the lives of others. Dare to dream big!

Every great achievement begins as a thought. We often forget that it is our thoughts that conduct the orchestra of our lives. It is they who determine what music will sound.

Our conscious and our subconscious work together to create our reality. The thoughts that we often repeat to ourselves, regardless of whether they are good or bad, "soak" in the subconscious. So be careful what thoughts you allow into your mind because it will "pattern" the subconscious. Which in turn will "model" our sense of ourselves. The subconscious can also be a catalyst for countless possibilities in our lives. That's why it needs very clear instructions on how we want it to work for us. The subconscious mind shapes our beliefs. Belief shapes our behavior. Behavior shapes our reality.

Stop asking yourself what you were born to do. No one knows the answer to this question. Instead, take advantage of today's opportunities… We can never be sure which path is best for us. So it's best to stop pushing your mind and learn to listen to your feelings.

The most successful people make decisions relying on their intuition, their feelings. And not on your mind. The mind can try to predict the consequences of the decision, and this will not help you, it will only make you indecisive.

You already know what you need. You don't need more knowledge and wisdom. You don't need magic formulas. Put into action just half of what you've learned so far and your life will change.

Life is a continuous change. However, our comfort zone gets in the way. The more comfortable we feel in the current situation, the more we hinder change, and with it even better things in our lives. Don't be afraid of change. Don't run from them. Accept them, welcome them. Experience them… Taking risks is no more dangerous than trying to maintain the status quo at all costs. On the contrary, when you don't resist change, you open the way for new possibilities.

Difficulties make us stronger. Without them, we will never reach our full potential. If it is not them, we will be less ourselves. Because everything that happens to us makes us stronger, wiser and more whole.

Most of us are very good at giving. We give to our children, to our loved ones, to our friends. But do we know how to receive? No. Even compliments are difficult to accept - they make us feel uncomfortable, blush. If someone thanks us for our help, we often dismiss our efforts by saying, "Oh, that was nothing!". And if someone says how much they like our style, most often we will reply that our clothes are not expensive or not new, but also just to say thank you. A compliment is a gift. We are taught that it is better to give than to receive, but this is wrong. Both are equally important to the happiness and fulfillment of our lives. Learn to accept and open your heart to the gifts of today.

Do what you love and success will come into your life. Put your skills to the max in the job. Lean on your qualities, your advantages. Remember that apathy and low self-esteem often keep us where we don't want to be. Open your eyes and hearts to your strengths. It is they who will chart your path to success. And they will walk you through it. As long as you believe in them!

Source: milenagoleva.com

1. About dreams
