But since this is impossible, we are even more discouraged.

Ten principles for success in life:

1/. We are here to learn lessons, and our teacher is the world.

2/. The universe has no favorites.

3/. Your life is an exact reflection of your beliefs.

4/. The moment you obsess over anything - ideas, people, money... you ruin everything.

5/. Are you focusing? on something in life yes, it is growing.

6/. Follow your heart.

7/. Don't expect God to come down from heaven and say, "You are now permitted to succeed!"

8/. When you fight life, it always wins.

9/. How to love people? By accepting them.

10/. Our mission in life is not to change the world, but to change ourselves.

When you change…

Have you ever noticed that there are days when everyone on the freeway is trying to kill you? When you leave home angry, it feels like people are trying to push you out of the way! If you leave the office feeling irritated, people on the subway are constantly kicking you. The reverse is also true. How different the world looks when we are in love!

The world is a mirror

The world is a mirror - you get from the outside what you experience from the inside - that's why IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ARRANGE YOUR LIFE FROM THE OUTSIDE-INSIDE. If people on the street look at you sullenly, the way is not to cross another street! If your coworkers don't respect you, changing jobs won't solve the problem.

Most of us have learned things backwards! For example: “If you don't like your job, change it. If you don't like your wife, change her too." Sometimes it is really appropriate to change your job or your partner. But if you don't change your way of thinking, then the same bitter experience awaits you.

Captain Gerald Coffey spent seven years as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam. Reflecting on his change in outlook, he says, “At first I was praying to God to change the situation I was in—God, take me back in time, five minutes before I was captured, and I'm going to fly the plane somewhere else... Please they, God, let the Americans win and get me out of here”.

"But as time went by," he continues, "my prayers changed... I was now praying to become a better person, to find the strength not just to resist, but even to benefit from my experience as a prisoner of war." He was no longer praying for circumstances to change, but for him to change.

The reason you are in any situation

are the lessons you should learn from her. That's why you've come this far! So there is no point in asking God to change the situation you are in. Until you change, you'll need her.

Mary is unhappy in her marriage – she needs to change. This is what she says: "God, just change my husband and I will be happy!". Nothing of the kind! Fred is offended by Mary and refuses to change. They are getting divorced. After a year, Mary says, “Just change Chuck…”

When we pray, "Lord, change my circumstances so that I don't have to change," we are actually showing a lack of understanding.

Instead, we should pray, "Change me and my thoughts." As we change our thoughts about a situation, the situation itself changes.

Read also:20 Signs You're Succeeding In Life Even If You Don't Feel It

From: "Ten Principles of Success" by Andrew Matthews - Gnezdoto publishing house

Look more:My diary for TREASURES by Milena Goleva

We often want to turn the world upside down because we blame it for all our failures.
