A young student went for a walk with his teacher. While they were walking and talking, on the opposite side of the road he saw a pair of old shoes which seemed to belong to some poor peasant who was working in his fields near the road and had already finished his work.<\/p>\n

The student said to the professor, \u201cLet's play a joke on this peasant. Let us hide his shoes and secretly watch what he will do.'' But since you are rich, you can take great pleasure in the following - put a gold coin in each shoe, and then we will hide in the bushes and watch his reaction." The student did so and they both hid behind a bush nearby. . The peasant finished his work and soon came from the field to the place where he had left his shoes and his coat.<\/p>\n

Cyprian prayer against evil forces and lessons<\/a><\/p>\n

As he was putting on his shoes, he felt that there was something in the shoe. At first he thought it was a pebble, but soon realized it was a gold coin. He was amazed to see a gold coin, looked around and then stood in thought for a while. He looked around again, but saw no one. He put the coin in his pocket and went to put on the other shoe, but to his great surprise he found a gold coin in it as well.<\/p>\n

Suddenly he was moved and he fell to his knees, raised his head to heaven and began to say a prayer of thanksgiving.<\/p>\n

In his prayer, he mentioned his seriously ill wife, the children who have nothing to eat, and now, thanks to the invisible hand that sent him the coins, they will finally be saved.<\/p>\n

The student stood deeply moved, with tears in his eyes. The professor asked him, "If you had joked with him the way you thought you would, would you be happier than you are now?"<\/p>\n

The young man replied, \u201cProfessor, you have taught me a lesson I will never forget! Now I really understand words that I didn't understand before:<\/p>\n

Blessed is the giver<\/strong>, more than the one who receives! Therefore, when you can do good, hurry, and you will not regret it. Just follow your conscience and the path of true values.\u201d<\/p>\n
