I asked God for an interview. To my surprise, He agreed. \u2013 Interview with\u2026 God<\/strong><\/h4>\n

- Come in! God told me. "So you would like to interview me?"<\/p>\n

"If you have time..." I told him.<\/p>\n

He smiled and replied:<\/p>\n

– My time is called eternity<\/strong> and it is enough for everything. What questions do you want to ask me?<\/p>\n

- Not those who are unknown to you. What is the thing that surprises you the most about people?<\/p>\n

\u2013 That they get bored while they're kids, rush to grow up, and then long to be kids again. That they lose their health to make money and then waste the money to get their health back. That, thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present and thus live neither for the present nor for the future. That they live as if they will never die, and then die as if they never lived\u2026.<\/p>\n

His hands took mine and we stood there in silence.<\/p>\n

After a long time I asked Him:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Can I ask you one more question?<\/p>\n

He answered me with a smile.<\/p>\n

\u2013 As our Father, what would You like Your children to do?<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that they cannot force someone to love them<\/a>. What they can do is let themselves be loved.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that it takes years to build trust and only seconds to destroy it.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that the most important thing in life is not what they have, but the people they have.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that it is not good to compare themselves with others. There will always be people who are better or worse than them.<\/p>\n

- To learn that rich is not the one who has the most, but the one who needs the least.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that they must control their behavior or it will control them.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that just a few seconds can open deep wounds in the people they love, and that it takes years to forget them.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn to forgive by practicing it.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that there are people who love them very much, but do not know how to show their feelings.<\/p>\n

- To learn that money can buy everything except happiness.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that even if they feel upset sometimes, that doesn't give them the right to upset others.<\/p>\n

- To learn that true friends are rare and if they find one - it is a real treasure.<\/p>\n

- To learn that sometimes it is not enough to forgive them, but they must forgive themselves.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that they are masters of what they keep within themselves and slaves to what they say.<\/p>\n

- To learn that true happiness does not consist in achieving their goals, but in being satisfied with what they have already achieved and are currently achieving.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that being happy is a decision. They decide to be happy with what they have and who they are, or die of envy and jealousy for what they don't have.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see completely different things.<\/p>\n

- To learn that those who are honest with themselves, regardless of the consequences, achieve a lot in life.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that even if they think they have nothing to give when their friend is crying, they can find strength to soothe the pain.<\/p>\n

\u2013 To learn that, trying to cling to those they love, they very quickly push them away. By letting them be free, they will stay together forever.<\/p>\n

I was thinking. God fell silent.<\/p>\n
