whoever it is fair<\/strong>,<\/p>\n to not feel secure enough.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I wish you to be useful, even indispensable.<\/p>\n And in bad times when there's nothing left,<\/p>\n that thy usefulness be sufficient,<\/p>\n to keep you upright.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I wish you to be too tolerant<\/strong><\/p>\n not with those who rarely make mistakes - that's easy,<\/p>\n but with those who err greatly<\/p>\n and irreparably<\/p>\n and using this tolerance,<\/p>\n to be an example to others.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I wish you don't mature quickly<\/p>\n and when you have matured,<\/p>\n don't want to get younger<\/p>\n and being already old<\/p>\n not to commit to hopelessness.<\/p>\n Because every age has its joy<\/strong><\/p>\n and your pain<\/p>\n and we must let them flow between us.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I wish you to feel sadness in passing.<\/p>\n Not all year, not even one day.<\/p>\n Then you will find<\/p>\n that everyday smile is beautiful<\/p>\n that the usual smile is foolish,<\/p>\n and a constant smile is corrupting.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I wish you to discover as quickly as possible,<\/p>\n despite and above all,<\/p>\n that they surround loved ones, sometimes oppressed,<\/p>\n who commune with injustice<\/p>\n and with people who are unhappy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I wish you to pet a dog, feed a bird<\/p>\n and listen to the song of the caddy,<\/p>\n to raise your morning chant,<\/p>\n because in this way you will feel happiness<\/p>\n more than ever.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I wish you too sow a seed<\/strong> \u2013<\/p>\n as little as possible<\/p>\n and keep him company as he grows,<\/p>\n to find out how many lives are needed<\/p>\n to become a tree.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I wish you also have money,<\/p>\n because you have to be practical<\/p>\n and at least once a year<\/p>\n to put the money in front of you and say:<\/p>\n "This is mine.",<\/p>\n to make it clear<\/p>\n who is master of whom.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I wish may none of your passions be extinguished<\/strong><\/p>\n and if this happens to any of them,<\/p>\n to be able to cry without regret<\/p>\n and you suffer without feeling guilty.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Finally, if you are a man - to have a good wife<\/p>\n and if you are a woman - to have a good man -<\/p>\n tomorrow and the day after<\/p>\n and when you are absorbed and smiling,<\/p>\n to talk over and over about love.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If these things happen to you -<\/p>\n I have nothing else to wish for you.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
