A beautiful parable that shows how our thoughts work, and why we become what we think. Enjoy!
- Who am I? - an old man asked a boy.
"You are what you think," replied the old man. – I will explain it to you with a story:
One evening in the semi-darkness of the street one could see the silhouettes of two people embracing.
"This is mom and dad," the child thinks.
"These are two lovers" - thinks a girl who dreams of love.
"These are friends who haven't seen each other for a long time," thinks the person who feels lonely.
"These are two merchants who made a good deal," thinks the greedy for money.
"A parent hugs his child, who has returned home after a long wandering," - thinks the mother.
"These are two fighting to the death," thought the killer.
"Who knows why they hug each other?" - thinks the callous person.
- Everyone thinks something, - finished the old man - depending on who he is and what he carries in himself.
Get into your thoughts and you will be able to say more about yourself than anyone else.
